Implementation of the Model Digital Factories project
“Today in Kazakhstan, in order to popularize and stimulate the introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies by demonstrating the practical effect, the Digital Factories project model is being implemented,” the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.
The enterprises participating in the project (Khimfarm JSC, Kentau Transformer Plant JSC, Eurasian Foods JSC, AK Altynalmas JSC, Karlskrona LLP, Almaty Ventilator Plant LLP, Bal Tekstil LLP) are implementing 49 projects with a total investment of 10.4 billion tenge.
To date, 25 projects have been completed for 4.7 billion tenge. For example, the largest pharmaceutical company Chimpharm has implemented 6 projects. The Smart Maintenance project enables predictive maintenance of equipment, planning repairs without compromising production activities, as well as forecasting the need for cash for work and spare parts.
And also one of the most important projects of the enterprise is “Power Map QA Product Quality Management”. This system is aimed at improving the quality of products, allows you to control the quality of the material throughout the product life cycle, starting from delivery and during production. 3 projects were put into operation at the KARLSKRONA LC AB machine-building plant.
CRM customer relationship management system – the creation of a single digital ecosystem for working with customers, which makes it possible to increase the transparency of activities in the areas of sales, marketing and customer service.
In addition, the plant is working on a 3D product modeling system. This system allows the use of software for creating a three-dimensional model of an object according to a previously developed drawing or sketch. At the moment, the 3D modeling project has been put into operation, the necessary licensed software, modules and components have been purchased, employees have been trained to use the ProCAST system, today the system is successfully operating at the enterprise. The gold mining company AK Altynalmas JSC is implementing 12 projects within the Digital Mine project.
For example, the dispatching of open pit mining operations at the Aktogay project based on the Wencomine mining equipment management system allows real-time monitoring of the work time and downtime of employees, optimally distribute (redistribute) dump trucks to loading points, reduce downtime, and conduct a comprehensive analysis and assessment. key indicators of personnel and equipment (KPI).
And also a bar-coding system was introduced at the Central warehouse. The use of a bar-coding system in a warehouse based on the MS Dynamics Axapta software solution (a system for managing enterprise resources) allows you to control the work of the central warehouse in real time. In addition, during the implementation of digitalization projects, a positive social effect is also observed, for example, JSC “AK Altynalmas” within the organized infrastructure at “Akbakay” and “Aktogay” distance education and generally improved the quality of life. It is worth noting that in the future, the companies participating in the project will become drivers for the implementation of digital technologies in their industries and not only.
