Health Minister Alexei Tsoi discussed measures to combat CVI with the akim of Almaty

Today, at the beginning of his working trip to Almaty, Minister of Health Aleksey Tsoi met with Akim Bakytzhan Sagintayev and medical activists of the city, during which they discussed the current epidemiological situation and the effectiveness of measures taken to combat corona-viral infection.
A. Tsoi noted that the situation with CVI is under the special control of the Head of State and the Government of the country, therefore, it was decided to hold a visiting headquarters to stabilize the situation with COVID-19 in Almaty with the participation of local executive bodies, specialists from the Ministry of Health, the city Health Department, leading clinicians and employees of the sanitary and epidemiological control service, the Committee for Medical Pharmaceutical Activity.
The Minister focused on solving problems to level the risks of further spread of the infection, including taking into account new mutations of the virus.
