For Kazakhstanis abroad, 5 new services are available on eGov.kz

–  Kazakhstan citizens living outside the country can now apply for marriage or divorce, registration of birth, death and change of name, surname, patronymic using the eGov.kz Internet portal. Upon receipt of a notification from the relevant foreign establishment of Kazakhstan about the registration of the deed entry, the applicant must obtain a ready-made certificate at the embassy or consulate of Kazakhstan abroad.

Today this opportunity is available in more than 20 locations around the world. The services were provided by National Information Technologies JSC and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, Aerospace Industry in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. For state registration of the conclusion or dissolution of marriage, in the “Family” section of the eGov.kz portal, you need to find the appropriate service, fill in the required fields and upload a receipt for payment of the consular fee, then sign the request using an EDS or SMS password. After that, a notification is sent to the personal account of one of the spouses about the need to approve the application. He / she fills in the required fields and signs the request. The term of the service is 1 month. To register the birth of a child abroad, the user needs to fill in the required fields, upload the requested documents, a receipt confirming the payment of the consular fee and sign the request. The term of the service is 3 working days. To change the name, surname, patronymic, you need to perform the same actions, but the period will be 30 calendar days. When registering a death, it is necessary to indicate the  PIC of the deceased, fill in the required fields and sign the request. The service is provided within 1 business day.
