First Vice-Minister of Health Marat Shoranov got acquainted with the work of medical organizations in Almaty

First Vice Minister of Health Marat Shoranov is on a working trip to Almaty. During the first day, he got acquainted with the activities of medical facilities, the availability of necessary medicines in the warehouses of SK-Pharmacia LLP, and, in general, with the region’s readiness for the second wave of coronavirus infection.
On the basis of the Public Health Department, M. Shoranov held a conference call with the leadership of medical organizations on readiness for the second wave of coronavirus infection. Representatives of the medical community discussed the functioning of Almaty medical institutions and the existing problems of the city’s healthcare system.
Also, the first vice-minister got acquainted with the activities of the modular clinic of the Children’s City Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital and visited the created hub of SK-Pharmacy LLP.
“Based on the forecast of the Ministry of Health, in four cities of the Republic – in Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Aktobe, and Shymkent, hubs of the Single Distributor have been created, in which an irreducible stock of medicines and personal protective equipment is formed outside the applications of medical organizations. It will be used in the event of an outbreak in a specific region for specific positions. The used volume should be promptly replenished with additional volume, in the case of using medicines and PPE, ”M. Shoranov emphasized.
The First Vice Minister visited the AbdiIbrahimGlobalPharm LLP plant, where he got acquainted with the full chain of medicines production.
Based on the results of the first day of the visit, an assessment of the activities of medical organizations was determined and instructions were given for the further effective development of the healthcare system in Almaty.
