The film “Kazakh Dance” was shown in the framework of the Days of Kazakhstan Documentary Film

In Almaty, the First President Elbasy Foundation hosted the premiere screening of the documentary film “Kazakh Dance”, created at the Kazakhfilm film studio named after Sh.Aymanov at the request of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Directors of the film were Anvara Sadykova and Gaziz Nasyrov.
The documentary film “Kazakh Dance”, shot with elements of the production of shooting games, will tell the story of Kazakh dance, through the fate of a young ballerina, students of the Almaty Ballet School. A. Seleznev, laureate of the International Competition, Janel Ulanova.
– I am grateful to the fate that gave me the opportunity to take part in the creation of this film. The painting was held thanks to the great professionals, this is the co-director, the well-known choreographer Anvar Sadykov, the editing director Sergei Vilkovski, and the cameraman Alexei Kiryukhin, who was able to accurately convey the character of the heroine. Special thanks to our heroine – Janel Ulanova, participation and professional knowledge of which decorated the picture, – said co-director of the picture Gaziz Nasyrov.
The film uses archival materials of the Almaty Choreographic School Museum. A. Seleznev, the theater “Astana Ballet”, the State Dance Theater “Naz”, as well as the materials of the author’s program Flura Musina “Legends and Myths of the Opera” and the film “Blue Route” (Kazakhfilm, 1968). The film was shot in the following cities: Astana, Almaty, Kyzylorda, Semey, Shymkent.
Recall, the display of this picture takes place in the framework of the Days of Kazakh documentary films held by Kazakhfilm JSC named after Sh.Aymanov together with the fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Gaziz Nasyrov – screenwriter and director, graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography. S.A. Gerasimova. In 1999, G. Nasyrov made his directorial debut in documentary “Two Steps in Doubt” (the prize for the best documentary at the Festival of Young Cinema in Kazakhstan “Look In Another Way”). Films on the scenarios of G. Nasyrov: “A small digression” (1999), and “Caladan Kelgen Kyz” (2003). He is also a co-author of the scenarios for the series “The City of Dreams” (KZF, 2009) and the paintings – “The Island of Revival” (KZF, 2004), “Seker” (KZF, 2009) and “Zhas Ulan” (KZF, 2011). In 2006, Gaziz Nasyrov together with Talgan Asyrankulov shot the film “Birds of Paradise”, which received a Diploma from the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan at the International Film Festival “Didori Dushanbe”. The film “Gakku” is his first independent director’s work.
Anvara Sadykova – senior lecturer of the chair “Pedagogy of Choreography” of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography. Choreographer, working in the style of Neo-Kazakh choreography. A. Sadykov was born in 1982 in the city of Balkhash (Karaganda region). In 2000 she graduated with honors from the Almaty Choreographic School. A. Selezneva (a student of K. Zhakipova and L.
