Digitalization will significantly increase the capabilities of Kazakh scientists
Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek got acquainted with the work of e-government services of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Modern information technologies allow organizations to interact with citizens in an electronic format, without direct physical contact. This increases the speed and quality of the provision of public services. Another important advantage of digitalization is the rational allocation of budgetary funds.
– Our task is to popularize science. One of the priorities in this direction is the digitization of all internal processes of the ministry. This will allow us to promptly respond to challenges and ensure transparency in the distribution of allocated funds for science and higher education,” said Sayasat Nurbek.
Given the importance of the work ahead, the structure of the new Ministry of Science and Higher Education provides for the position of Vice Minister for Digitalization. He will oversee the digitalization of internal processes and be responsible for interaction with relevant ministries and departments. For example, a preliminary analysis of the allocated funds showed that the organization of a digital platform would help to take into account all the laboratory equipment available to research institutes. This will speed up the procurement of new laboratories and ensure the sharing of existing laboratories.
Recall that at a meeting with scientists at the National Academy of Sciences, the Head of State identified among the tasks the need to improve the management system of the country’s scientific industry.
