” An Open Day” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at Astana Hub
On December 6, 2018, the Open Day of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held on the basis of the International Technopark of IT Startups “Astana Hub” with the participation of representatives of the IT community.
Digital technologies are playing an increasingly important role in the progressive development of Kazakhstan’s health care. Thanks to the integration of IT – technology, domestic medicine has made a significant step forward. However, the Ministry is tasked with the further development of digital health, the implementation of which depends
from a well-coordinated teamwork with the IT-community of our country.
The chairman of the pharmacy committee, L. Byurabekova, spoke about the current activities of the committee.
At the same time, Vice – Minister of Health O. Abishev voiced projects and proposals, on the implementation of which the IT sector could work:
– “pharmacy opening” is a composite service for entrepreneurs, which allows to start pharmaceutical activity in electronic format, to operate on the basis of a single application;
– the state service “Provision of medicines, specialized medical products, medical products to certain categories of citizens”, which allows an electronic format to carry out an accurate analysis of the quantity of need, based on the analysis, plan the purchase of the required amount of medicines to patients;
– labeling of drugs, tracking from manufacturer to consumer;
– electronic recipes;
– side effects of drugs through an electronic database;
– registration of marginal prices for medicines and medical products;
– formation of a list of a single distributor and the Kazakhstan national medicinal formulary.
Vice – Minister of Health O. Abishev: “Today digitalization plays an important role in the development of health care. I am convinced that the joint work on further “digitization” of medicine will allow us to improve the quality and availability of medical services to our citizens. ”
