Days of Zhambyl region are held in Zhetysu
Days of Culture of Zhambyl region started in Semirechye yesterday.
Akim of Almaty region Amandyk Batalov received the delegation headed by Deputy Akim of Zhambyl region Daulet Karibek within the framework of the 30th anniversary of independence and the 175th anniversary of Zhambyl Zhabayev. The head of the region also told “From the renewed Zhambyl to Zhetysu!” to Zhambyl amateurs”,- the press service of the region’s akim reports.
During the reception in the regional akimat, Amandyk Batalov briefed the guests on the achievements of the region on the eve of the 30th anniversary of independence, the long-standing ties between the two regions, the events dedicated to the anniversary of Zhambyl Zhabayev.
– Congratulations on your arrival in Almaty region! Our interregional relations with Zhambyl region have long been established. A few years ago, our region held cultural days in Taraz, but today you are bringing art to Semirechye. Both regions have common values and common measures. Zhambyl, our ancestor is a person common not only to the two regions, but to all Kazakhs.
Earlier, the museum of the poet was renovated, and on the eve of the anniversary, the Ministry of Culture and Sports began to reconstruct the facility. We have improved the village and streets of Zhambyl, overhauled and renovated the house of culture on 114 million tenge and published a 30-volume book. All this is due to the improvement of the regional economy. As a result, a lot of attention is paid to the social sphere, – said Akim of the region Amandyk Batalov, who told about a number of measures for the development of the region.
Then the deputy akim of Zhambyl region Daulet Karibek thanked the leadership of the region for the warm reception and conveyed the greetings of akim of the region Berdybek Saparbayev.
– We started our trip to Zhetysu by bowing to our ancestor Zhambyl. We went to the beginning, prayed and visited the museum. We saw the “Atameken” historical and cultural museum of the President, the sports and recreation complex in Ushkonyr. The effect is amazing. The delegation arrived in Zhetysu region with about 150 people. We brought a part of the history of Taraz along the Great Silk Road as an exhibition. We brought our songs. In general, the two regions have a lot to learn from each other and exchange experiences. A sugar plant is being built in our region. This year we planted 6,000 hectares of sugar beet. Let the partnership between the two regions be strengthened, both in terms of economic and art exchange, – said Daulet Karibek.
After the reception, the Day of Culture continued with a concert of the Zhambyl Regional Philharmonic named after Kenen Azerbayev at the Drama Theater named after B. Rimova. At the concert, the head of the region publicly expressed his gratitude to Berdybek Saparbayev, the akim of Zhambyl region , who sent a delegation to Zhetysu, and wished success to the artists.
It should be noted that as part of the cultural days, Zhambyl residents organized a mobile exhibition “Taraz – the ancient city of the Great Steppe” at the Drama Theater named after B. Rimova. Libraries held a mobile cultural event “The past is an example, today – a strong, bright future – Zhambyl region.” The delegation laid flowers to the monument to Zhambyl Zhabayev and visited the museum of the poet. Cultural events will continue today, and the Zhambyl Regional Kazakh Drama Theater named after A. Tokpanov will present a “Zhambyl’s Red Tiger” play .
