Dear compatriots!
Very soon the New Year will come, which we are celebrating throughout the country.
At these moments, we all say warm wishes to each other, sum up the results of the outgoing year, and make plans for the coming year. The unity of our sacred Motherland begins with such unity of our people.
The year 2023 has become a year of great achievements and difficult challenges for our country. Joys and difficulties inevitably follow each other – this is the law of life. But we always look to the future with confidence.
This year, the population of Kazakhstan crossed a significant milestone, reaching 20 million people. This was welcome and encouraging news for all of us. Population growth is the key to the power and prosperity of the state, and a happy family is the basis of the country’s well-being.
Kazakhstan is steadily moving on its strategic course of sustainable progress. Thanks to the unity and hard work of all citizens, we have implemented large-scale reforms on the path of renewal and modernization, and strengthened the foundation of our state.
We have declared the key objective of state policy to ensure the rule of law and order, taking specific measures in this direction. Major projects have been launched in the fields of education and healthcare, and the transition to a new economic model based on the principles of justice has begun. All these important steps are aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens.
Billions of dollars of foreign investment have been attracted, as a result of which enterprises needed by the country have been opened and new jobs have been created. Small and medium-sized businesses, which are the main driving force of the national economy, received comprehensive support. Work continues to return illegally acquired economic assets. The funds returned to the state are already used for the benefit of the people, for example, for the construction of schools. Millions of hectares of land that have not been used for many years will be transferred to conscientious farmers.
The creative potential of our nation is embodied in the labor exploits of workers, engineers, farmers and peasants, selfless service to the Motherland of military personnel and law enforcement officers, successful projects of entrepreneurs, socially useful works of scientists, and the creativity of cultural figures. Today, the true heroes of our time are professionals in their field – teachers, medical workers and all working people.
An example of solidarity and mutual support was shown by the good deeds of volunteers, philanthropists, heroic deeds of rescuers and simply concerned citizens.
We have begun important work to form a new social ethics, promote the values of work and the cult of knowledge in society, and develop the creative economy.
Along with professional sports, mass sports are actively developing in the country. It is especially important that more and more children began to engage in physical education. Therefore, new sports facilities are now being built in the cities and villages of our country.
Thanks to a balanced, constructive foreign policy, Kazakhstan has strengthened its position in the international arena in full accordance with long-term national interests.
In short, the past year was marked by impressive successes, bright moments and important events. Overall, Kazakhstan’s economy grew by 4.9 percent.
Together we tackled many pressing problems, thereby giving new impetus to the development of the country. We have firmly taken the path of creating a Just Kazakhstan – a state of equal opportunities for everyone. The reforms carried out have already begun to bear fruit, and I am grateful to all my fellow citizens for their contribution to the common cause.
The New Year always brings new tasks and challenges. I am confident that next year we will witness a new rise of our nation. But we have a lot of work to do to build a competitive, prosperous country.
In the new year, we will continue systemic reforms aimed at strengthening our statehood and improving the well-being of the people. We will take comprehensive measures to establish a dictatorship of law and order in society.
The state will create new growth points in industry, agriculture, energy and other sectors of the economy.
We will always help socially vulnerable and needy citizens. Teachers, doctors, rescuers, military personnel, law enforcement officers, and representatives of other professions will receive support.
The state is taking serious measures to open up broad opportunities for the younger generation. Very soon, part of the National Fund’s funds will begin to flow into children’s accounts. It is important that our youth look confidently into the future.
A number of events dedicated to our centuries-old history will take place in the coming year. Honoring the memory of outstanding sons of the people and glorifying their great deeds is the duty of descendants.
In 2024, the World Nomad Games will be held in Kazakhstan, and our best athletes will take part in the Summer Olympic Games.
To ensure the progressive development of the country, every citizen must be a true professional.
