During the briefing for representatives of domestic media the Head of state has noted that he participates in the Summit of the G20 for the second time and this year by the invitation of the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
– To participate in so large action where the heads of states representing 70 percent of the population of the earth and a half of economy of the world – very great honor to Kazakhstan gather. Here the most serious questions of global economy and policy are discussed, the common position on the large regional and world issues including concerning safety is developed. Speaking at the first session, I have also presented the Kazakhstan vision on all these aspects. Throughout all discussion of the summit you feels breath of the planet, you realizes problems which concern the developed and developing states of the world. Kazakhstan needs also to consider the questions which are brought up here and to be engaged in them beforehand, – the President of Kazakhstan has told.
Nursultan Nazarbayev has expressed confidence that the efforts on industrialization and attraction of investments made in the present hard time by Kazakhstan are timely and justified.
– Now it is necessary to keep low unemployment rate, to care for creating new jobs, to pass from fight against crisis to economic growth. We will speak about it at the enlarged meeting of the Government which will take place on September 9, – the Head of state has told.
The president of Kazakhstan has reminded that in parallel with the summit his working visit to the People’s Republic of China has taken place. In this regard, Nursultan Nazarbayev has emphasized interest and attention of the Chinese side to all questions of the bilateral relations raised by our country.
– We have reached agreement on all aspects of former arrangements, in particular, on construction in the territory of Kazakhstan of modern joint ventures. This list includes 51 objects, two of which are already constructed, construction of four objects for the total amount of 2,5 billion dollars will be complete this year. Within only five years it is planned to construct the enterprises with a total cost of 26 billion dollars. Besides, for support of these projects joint Kazakhstan-Chinese funds both between the companies, and between the states work. For example, Fund of development of the Silk way, – Nursultan Nazarbayev has told.
According to the Head of state, transport and communication relations between Kazakhstan and China remain one of the main issues of the bilateral agenda.
– Annual increase in transit of the freights going through the territory of Kazakhstan and China is observed. Considerably use of Aktau port that wasn’t earlier became more active. It has occurred thanks to construction of the dry port Horgos, the railroad Horgos-Almaty 300 km long and highway Western Europe – the Western China. The logistic centers are constructed. All these transport hubs are growth points. Also we have agreed about cooperation in power and technological branches, – the President of Kazakhstan has told.
Nursultan Nazarbayev has also noted that in connection with commissioning of the largest field Kashagan possibilities of supply of the Kazakhstan oil will increase.
– Now we deliver about 7 million tons of oil to the People’s Republic of China, this indicator can be raised to 20 million tons, and also to increase supply of gas from Kazakhstan to China. All this will lift to new level commodity turnover between our countries, – the Head of state has told.
Besides, the President of Kazakhstan has in detail stopped on the Kazakhstan-Chinese interaction in the field of agriculture.
– The agreement on delivery to China of food wheat, other species of grain, bean and oil-bearing crops, and also meat and a bird is for the first time reached. Before it at us wasn’t. Thus, we open a way for our agricultural producers. I think, it is very good news. At the same time, the Chinese side has very strict requirements on quality of goods and phytosanitation. Our landowners should be ready to it, – Nursultan Nazarbayev has told.
The head of state has paid attention to a reality of the reached agreements, having noted that the governments of two countries will need to carry out the corresponding work for their realization.
– In the nearest future the visit to Kazakhstan of the Chairman of the State Council Li Keqiang is expected. During negotiations with him we plan to discuss in addition questions which our countries should solve through joint efforts, – the President of Kazakhstan has told.
