Azhar Giniyat visited the Children’s Home in Nur-Sultan
Today, Vice Minister of Healthcare, Azhar Giniyat made a working visit to the “Specialized Children’s Home” SPI (State Public Institution) of the Nur-Sultan City Administration, during which she got acquainted with its activities and living conditions for children.
The Vice-Minister was familiarized with the living conditions for the inmates left without parental care, as well as the organization of the Children’s Homework for the rehabilitation and habilitation of young children.
Giniyat visited the “Bobek” group, which was organized according to the family model of living, visited the “Kunim” and “Botaqan” rehabilitation groups for children in difficult life situations.
In addition, she got acquainted and talked with specialists who are engaged in medical, psychological, pedagogical, and social work, visited the large and small exercise therapy gym halls, a swimming pool, physiotherapy, Montessori, methodical and sensory rooms, speech therapists, and social workers’ offices.
An online working meeting was held at the Children’s Home. It was attended by Magripa Embergenova, Director of the Department of Maternal and Child Health Care Administration of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Timur Muratov, Head of the Public Health Office of Nur-Sultan, Gulnar Dosmyrzayeva, Deputy Head of the Public Health Department of Nur-Sultan, as well as the first heads of Health Departments and directors of Children’s Homes in the regions. The agenda was focused on issues of increasing the children’s age stay in Children’s homes up to 6 years, issues of staffing, advanced training of specialists, and several other issues.
In general, following the results of the visit, A. Giniyat expressed a high opinion of the Children’s Home activity in Nur-Sultan.
