New impulse to the development of fruitful cooperation with the neighboring regions of the country gave EKR International Investment Forum “Altai Invest-2016”. At the end of the plenary meeting akimat of East Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of cooperation in trade-economic, scientific and other spheres with the akimat of Karaganda and Pavlodar regions.

During the plenary meeting of Akim of East Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Pavlodar regions touched upon the current state and prospects of development of trade-economic relations and strengthen ties in the field of industrial partnership. Great potential exists in the regions integrating business communities.
Drivers of the development of EKR economic relations and the two major regions of Kazakhstan will cooperate in the fields of trade, business and agriculture. Integration in the field of culture, sports, education will contribute to creating favorable conditions for young people.
During the forum, the akim of East Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov said that the forum is of great importance for the Eastern Kazakhstan, focused on building a modern economy that is open to new ideas, innovation and investment.
Concluded on trade and economic results of the meeting memorandums in scientific, industrial and agricultural areas, regions have moved to a new level of cooperation. This step will stimulate mutual investments, establishing close business contacts between business circles and enterprises of the real sector of the economy.
