Acrosoil stabilizer technology was tested on the Kokshetau-Atbasar road section

Innovation continues on the country’s roads. In the experimental section of 7 + 150 – 7 + 250 km of the Kokshetau-Atbasar highway, the “Acrosoil” technology of the stabilizing additive of soil and foundation was tested.
The introduction of the new technology is carried out by “NC KazAvtoZhol” JSC  together with the “UneedUs” LLP company. According to UneedUs LLP, the Acrosoil stabilizer will strengthen almost any subgrade soil and foundations, including those made of clay and loam.
The subgrade soil or base is milled and at the same time thoroughly mixed by a recycler with the addition of 1-3% cement and Acrosoil stabilizer with a certain consumption depending on the type of soil. The resulting mixture is rolled with a cam roller, profiled with a motor grader, after which the final rolling is performed with a smooth roller or pneumatic roller.
It should be noted that the soils are strengthened by the traditional method with a cement consumption of 6-7%, and with the use of Acrosoil stabilizer 1-3% of cement, thereby this technology will reduce the material consumption and cost of the pavement structure.
After monitoring and inspection of the experimental site, based on the results of a technical study, the feasibility of further implementation of this technology will be determined.
