A young entrepreneur from the Almaty region is breeding chickens
“Almira Dauletova, a resident of the village of Enbekshikazakh, Koksu district, has recently been breeding chickens. She was able to start her own business thanks to the grant received under the Bastau Business project”, – the press service of the akim of the Almaty region reports.
It is worth noting that A. Dauletova faced this direction of the agricultural sector for the first time. An enterprising young mother was able to learn all the intricacies of the profession thanks to the “Bastau Business” project, where future entrepreneurs of various fields of activity are trained in detail, and then they provide gratuitous funding from the state.
– I haven’t worked anywhere before. Received targeted social assistance. The akimat, where I came to update the documents, told me about this state project. And I got interested. Managers of the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs taught how to draw up a business plan, keep the necessary records and helped start a business. My little child has a very rare disease. Since birth, he needs special care, so I was not able to get any job. So starting a business is a big help for people like me who have to stay at home, ”said Almira Dauletova.
The money received from the state was used to purchase chickens of the German breed Loman Brown, an incubator for 350 eggs and the necessary feed. Having prepared everything, Almira began to manage the household. At first, due to lack of inexperience, she lost several chickens. Nevertheless, after consulting with people who have experience in poultry farming, having learned all the subtleties of feeding and proper care for young animals, I was able to establish my own business.
– Now I take my work very seriously. Spouse Berik built a new barn, we created good conditions for chickens, fenced off the house. This month we plan to receive an average of 1,700 eggs. There are no particular difficulties in raising chickens. The main thing is timely care and feeding, says the young entrepreneur. According to her, now the population’s need for pure natural eggs has increased, so it is not difficult to sell the product. According to the akimat of the Koksu region, this year about 60 local residents received grants totaling 34.9 million tenge. In particular, 21 large families, 9 young people aged 18 to 29 and 1 villager with special needs received grants in the amount of 583 thousand tenge. Of these, 25 people have opened a business in the field of animal husbandry, and 3 people are engaged in poultry farming.
In general, in the region within the framework of the “Business Road Map – 2025” program, an additional 11.8 billion tenge was allocated. Due to this, it is planned to support more than 2.5 thousand small and medium-sized businesses, create 5 thousand jobs, save 7 thousand jobs.
