A SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL CONSORTIUM IN THE FIELD OF ENGINEERING IS CREATED ON THE BASIS OF BAITURSYNOV UNIVERSITY

The machine-building cluster of the Kostanay region is rightfully considered the largest in the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to experts in the engineering industry, domestic engineering is going through difficult times today: there is a lag in the implementation of innovative technologies that are relevant on the world market; there is a high level of depreciation of the main production facilities, the scale of dependence on imports is not decreasing. As a result, there is a shortage of qualified personnel.
Combining the resources and intellectual potential of the Consortium participants will not only solve personnel issues, but will also strengthen the interaction between the production and educational spheres, will contribute to the development of the engineering industry through the integration of science, education and real production.
The Consortium included Baitursynov University, College of Road Transport, Research Institute of Mechanics and Engineering named after Academician U.A. Dzholdasbekov, the largest machine-building enterprises of the region – SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP, AgromashHoldingKZ JSC, KamLitKZ LLP.
It is worth noting that the university is defined as the base university for creating a Center for Academic Excellence in the region and targeted training of engineering personnel for existing and new industries, as well as for developing a Regional Atlas of Professions as part of the Mamandygym-bolashagym! project.
In the future, the implementation of this project will allow the university to train specialists-engineers of a new formation for high-tech enterprises in the region.
Conducting research, organizing internships for teachers and students, attracting a specialized research institute will allow jointly solving the problems of enterprises through the implementation of science-intensive projects and R&D.
