The new school removes the issues of three-shift education of schools No. 59 and 85, overcrowding in schools No. 76 and 75. The school was equipped with an interactive development room, an online studio for distance learning. In the studio, teachers can record online lessons, host webinars, and broadcast live. In the future, we will apply this practice in other schools as well, ”said Altay  Kulginov, the mayor of the capital.

Akim of the capital also visited IT school-lyceum № 8 (Seifullina – Omarova st., 1800 places in two shifts). The old school building, which was built almost 60 years ago, was declared an emergency. Over the past years, children have studied in the buildings of schools No. 56 and 16. The new school is equipped with IT and STEM classrooms – pupils will be able to create 3D objects, model robots, apply scientific and technical knowledge immediately in practice. In addition, the school has room for inclusion and pedagogical and psychological correction – specially trained teachers will work with children with special needs.

Primary school pupils will study within the walls of the school in the format of “duty groups” – there are no more than 15 children in the classroom, the seating arrangement is drawn on the desks in a checkerboard pattern. Disinfecting tunnels, antiseptics, markings on the observance of social distance, and reminders about the need to wear masks have been installed.

In total, 12 schools will be built and put into operation in the capital in the current year, which is two times more than last year. Another 12 schools will be built in 2021.
