A new sports complex was opened by entrepreneurs in the Panfilov district
In the Panfilov district, entrepreneurs renovated an abandoned building and opened the Daraboz sports complex with 120 seats, reports the press service of the Zhetysu region akim.
A new facility in the city of Zharkent with a population of about 53 thousand people was opened on the eve of the New Year, and now everyone will be able to play sports in 10 opened sections.
According to the akimat of the Panfilov district, previously there was a cultural center in an abandoned building built in the 80s. By decree of the akim of Zharkent, this building was transferred to trust management for a period of 5 years to local entrepreneurs Ilshat Osmanov and Askhat Burashov, who, having invested 500 million tenge of their own funds, carried out a major overhaul and opened a sports complex in it, equipping it with all the necessary sports equipment. Now in the building of a sports and recreation complex with a total area of about 1500 sq. m there will be 10 sections for boxing, wrestling, judo, Greco-Roman wrestling, table tennis and other sports. 120 people can study here at the same time. The new sports complex has a gym, a cafeteria and a 16-bed hostel for athletes arriving for competitions with its own dining room. There is also a theoretical training center and separate futsal courts for basketball and football. In addition to 10 trainers, another 10 people from among local residents will work here. Thus, 20 new permanent jobs were created. The average salary is 100 thousand tenge.
District akim Marat Sagymbek, who was present at the opening ceremony of the Daraboz sports complex, expressed sincere gratitude to patrons and local entrepreneurs for their support in solving social issues of the region, caring for the health of the younger generation and attracting the population to sports.
Let us note that this is the ninth sports complex opened in the Panfilovsky district at the expense of local philanthropists and entrepreneurs. Also in 2023, at the expense of the budget, sports complexes were built and put into operation in the villages of Penzhim and Ulkenshygan, another new sports complex for 100 seats is being built in the village of Usharal.
