A NEW COMMITTEE HAS BEEN CREATED IN THE NATIONAL CHAMBER

By decision of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken”, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Committee was created. There are currently 18 committees in the National Chamber. This was announced by Timur Nakhipbekov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Atameken Research and Production Enterprise, at the International Congress of Business Women held in Aktau.
The working body of the Women’s Entrepreneurship Committee has designated a structural unit of the National Chamber – the Department of Employment and Development of Small and Women’s Entrepreneurship.
“The committee was created with the aim of developing, expert assessment and promoting a set of measures necessary for the development of women’s entrepreneurship in the Republic of Kazakhstan, coordinating the interaction of state and public structures on issues of women’s entrepreneurship,” said Managing Director of the Atameken NCE Aidana Togyzbaeva.
According to the speaker, special exhibitions were held in 20 regions in the direction of “One village – one product”, 33 projects moved to the next stage of support. About 60 new brands entered the market. As an example, he mentioned the products of the project participants – the village of Kuryk, Mangistau region.
“Today, the Council of Business Women at the National Chamber unites about 2 thousand women entrepreneurs who are active in business and contribute to the development of the country. The Chamber provides assistance in acquiring new professional skills within the framework of the “Men Kasipker” state program, up to industry training and brand formation. We are confident that the created committee will further intensify the activities of women entrepreneurs,” she noted.
