WINNERS OF THE NATIONAL CUP OF THE ENACTUS KAZAKHSTAN NATIONAL COMPETITION 2023
The National Cup of Student Entrepreneurship, Startups and Innovations, as well as the IV Republican Championship of School Entrepreneurship ENACTUS KAZAKHSTAN NATIONAL EXPO 2023, ended in Astana.
More than 100 teams gathered at the ENACTUS national competition of school and student entrepreneurship. Throughout the academic year, the teams worked on social entrepreneurial, environmental and innovative projects.
The national champion of student entrepreneurship ENACTUS KAZAKHSTAN became the team of the University of Buketov Enactus Academy of the Buketov University. Together with the title of national champion, the team won the right to defend the honor of Kazakhstan at the ENACTUS World Cup 2023 in the Netherlands. In the Early Stage Competition league (projects at the initial stage of development), the ENACTUS team of the North Kazakhstan State University named after Manash Kozybayev won.
This year, 40 student and 70 school teams from 17 regions of Kazakhstan took part in the competition.
The speakers at the event were Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Altai Kulginov; Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek; Chairman of the Presidium of NCE “Atameken”, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENACTUS KAZAKHSTAN Raimbek Batalov; Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Yerkinbaev; Deputy Mayor of Astana Yerlan Bekmurzaev; Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Respublica Party Aidarbek Khodjanazarov; Vice Presidents of ENACTUS Global Elgar Beumer and Amy Englert, Director of Development Tiffany Armstrong and many others.
“I came to the National Cup to support the young generation of future business leaders and wish them success in their endeavors! And also, I am here to support the national office of ENACTUS Kazakhstan in connection with the submitted application to host the ENACTUS World Championship in 2024,” said Sayasat Nurbek.
It should be noted that the ENACTUS international program has been developing student entrepreneurship in 33 countries for more than 45 years. Youth initiatives to implement business projects are traditionally supported by major executives of international companies. Every year, 1,800 universities, more than 72,000 participants, take part in this program.
