136 thousand people applied for participation in the January UNT
Completed acceptance of applications for participation in the January UNT. 136 thousand people expressed their desire to undergo testing. UNT will be held from January 15 to February 10.
It is worth noting that when submitting applications, applicants themselves chose the date, time and place of testing.
“During the UNT, a calculator, the periodic system of chemical elements (Mendeleev’s table) and the solubility table will be available on computer screens. Applicants can submit an appeal within 30 minutes after the end of testing. The certificate will be available in the testee’s personal account after the decision on the appeal is made,” said director of the National Testing Center Ruslan Emelbaev.
The number of subjects per UNT remains the same – three mandatory and two optional. However, the number of assignments for the compulsory subjects “Reading Literacy” and “Mathematical Literacy” will be reduced to 5 questions. The number of questions on profile subjects will increase to 40. It is important to note that in profile subjects, 5 tasks will be added to match the selection from the list.
Thus, the number of tasks for UNT-2024 remains unchanged – 120. Including 20 tasks on “History of Kazakhstan”, 10 tasks on “Reading literacy”, 10 tasks on “Mathematical literacy” and 40 tasks on two profile subjects . The maximum number of points also remains unchanged – 140 points.
Testing time – 4 hours (240 minutes). Here it is worth noting that for children with special educational needs, an additional time of 40 minutes will be saved.
