Philip Morris Kazakhstan Company received an award for its contribution to the development of the the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research (KIMEP)

In the framework of the work of the Council of Foreign Investors of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Philip Morris Kazakhstan LLP together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2018 implemented a project to introduce the best practices for the organization and functioning of career centers in regional higher educational institutions. Within the framework of this project, on the basis of KIMEP as one of the leading educational institutions of the country, training seminars were held where best practices of the functioning of such centers were presented, with further visiting meetings in the regions for the most effective use of the knowledge gained by the career centers of regional universities. As a result of work with the support of Philip Morris Kazakhstan LLP and KIMEP, career centers were created in five regional universities.

At the 32nd plenary meeting of the Council of Foreign Investors, chaired by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev, in 2019, dedicated to the theme “Development of human capital”, the President of Philip Morris International in the Eastern Europe region Marco Mariotti shared the experience of one of the leading companies employers of the country and region.
