In particular, the head of the Ministry of Health spoke in detail about measures to address the issue of access to medicines in pharmacies.

“Medicines in a simplified manner from warehouses come to wholesale companies. In the future, they will be sold directly to retail points of sale of medicines – the barrier that we had, we removed. In the shortest possible time, medicines will be on the market, ”the minister emphasized.

The Ministry is monitoring drug prices. In each region, special groups have been created under akimats, which ensure that medicines are sold at set price limits.

“At the same time, law enforcement agencies are helping us very much now, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting a large-scale audit in all regions of Kazakhstan. In just a couple of days of these events, emphasis was placed on speculative sales of medications, masks and other goods on social networks, ”said Alexey Tsoi.

The facts of illegal sale of medicines were revealed in the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Akmola, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, Turkestan regions. In total, on July 6, 46 people were delivered to the police, from which 20,884 packages of medicines were seized.

In his speech, the head of the department paid special attention to the role of doctors in the fight against a pandemic and the protection of their rights.

“Each of our colleagues has a special account. More importantly, our staff is most in demand during this period. There are cases when in some regions our medical workers are persecuted. This is clearly regulated by law, each case is considered. There are resonant cases. All this is being discussed, ”the minister said.

He explained that there is always the opportunity to appeal, appeal to the Ministry of Health.

“This issue is under special control. We will protect our medical workers and everything will be in the legal field, ”the head of the department assured.

To constantly monitor the situation in the regions, the Ministry of Health introduced a new format of online detours: a video call is made to one of the employees of the medical institution, and a detour is made along corridors, wards, and warehouses. The day before, the method was already tested in three medical organizations in Atyrau.

“Inclusions save time and resources, but we see the real situation on the ground, problematic issues. No one is silent. There are colleagues who try to show the picture in a good light, but asking specific questions, comparing the facts, and making a video review in intensive care, or having got to the drug stores, you can immediately see an objective picture. And so we will do it all the time, ”said the Minister of Health.

During the briefing, it was noted that now 14.9 thousand infectious beds for patients with confirmed COVID-19 have been deployed throughout the country, an additional 2.3 thousand infectious beds have been additionally deployed per week, the average occupancy of beds is 62%, the deficit of infectious beds remains in Atyrau region (95%).

In addition, 26.2 thousand pharmacist beds were deployed for patients with suspected COVID-19, 11 thousand pharmacist beds were additionally deployed per week, the average occupancy of these beds is 84%, the largest deficit is in Nur-Sultan (125%), Karaganda Oblast (105%), Mangistau Oblast (98%), Turkestan Oblast (98%), Kyzylorda Oblast (97%).

In total, in the Republic of Kazakhstan as of the current date, 49 683 cases of COVID-19 have been registered, including with symptoms of 25 481 people, without symptoms – 24 202 patients, the share of growth per day was 2.3% or 1109 cases.

Of the total number of reported cases of COVID-19, almost two-thirds (63.9%) were cured and returned to daily life, 36.1% of patients continue treatment or are under observation.

Vice Minister of Health Azhar Giniyat said that these 36.1% are 17.6 thousand patients, of which 8.3 thousand patients are observed and treated in polyclinics, or 47.5% of patients with COVID-19 are asymptomatic and mild. In infectious hospitals, 9.2 thousand patients receive treatment in connection with the development of pneumonia. Over the past 24 hours, 619 patients have been discharged from hospitals, and 619 patients have been cured on an outpatient basis.

“The dynamics of ambulance calls is not decreasing, 4 thousand calls are being served per day on suspicion of COVID-19, a third of patients were hospitalized in hospitals, which was also possible due to the expansion of the hospital bed of infectious and pharmacist hospitals. At the outpatient service level, 308 mobile teams began to work, for example, in the Kyzylorda region, 50 units of vehicles were allocated for the needs of mobile teams of akimats, this allowed to reduce the workload of ambulances, ”said the vice minister.

In the near future, about 4,000 brigades across Kazakhstan will begin to work.

“Phased in each region, we see that there is an increase in the number of mobile teams. And I think that in the shortest possible time, we will increase this availability. That is, this initiative has only recently been announced, and now we are gradually starting to implement it. I think that in the near future it will become more affordable. And our health workers will be able to come home and advise and conduct tests at home, ”said Alexei Tsoy.

He recalled that the PCR tests that will be carried out by such teams are completely free for the patient.
