In the Almaty region, an international company will build two modern plants for the production of thermal insulation materials. The total investment cost is about 44 billion tenge. This became known today during a meeting of the regional akim Amandyk Batalov with representatives of the Russian corporation “Technonikol”, as a result of which a trilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed, – the press service of the akim of the Almaty region reports.

According to V. Tkachev, next year Tekhnonikol will celebrate its 30th anniversary. It includes 56 production sites in 7 countries of the world. These are Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Italy, Germany, Great Britain and Poland. There are also 22 representations in 18 countries of the world, 19 educational and 6 scientific centers. The company employs 6 thousand employees, produces about 3 thousand types of products, which are supplied to 117 countries. These are mainly materials for thermal and waterproofing. A new plant was recently launched in Poland. Now 2 more modern factories of this largest company with a worldwide reputation will be built in the Almaty region. Both enterprises are planned to be located in the Kairat industrial zone in the Talgar region.
“The first plant will produce energy-saving heat-insulating materials, that is, it is mineral insulation made of stone wool. This will be an export-oriented production, 20% of production, thanks to the opportunities provided by the free economic zone “Khorgos – Eastern Gate”, will be exported to China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The new plant with a capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters. meters of finished products per year will create 180 jobs. The enterprise will produce building heat and sound insulation for walls, roofs, facades, floors and internal partitions, as well as materials for sandwich panels, technical insulation, fire protection and substrates for agriculture. It is planned to launch the plant in September 2023, ”Vasily Tkachev said.
Alexey Kasimov, the head of the strategic business unit Polymer Isolation, spoke about the specifics of the second plant.
“This will be an enterprise for the production of extruded polystyrene foam – an environmentally friendly heat-insulating material with a capacity of 400 thousand cubic meters. meters of finished products per year, which can be recycled. It is used for insulation of roofs, foundations, floors, in the implementation of various infrastructure projects. It is planned to create 40 more jobs at the new enterprise, – A. Kasimov noted.
It is important to note that the factories of the Technonikol company are distinguished by a high degree of automation and special attention to compliance with all environmental standards and requirements. At the same time, the quality products manufactured by this company allow the enemy to simplify the construction technology. Another feature is the opening of training centers, on the basis of which both employees of enterprises and representatives of contractors and everyone who is interested in this area can learn to work at the plant, use modern materials in construction. New factories in the Almaty region will not be an exception, thanks to the commissioning of which about 44 billion tenge of investments will be attracted to the economy of the region with the creation of about 250 jobs.
