The bronze Elbasy Medal winners were announced

The first meeting of the Commission for awarding participants of the “The Elbasy Medal” program was held at the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation. The Commission included representatives of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation, the”Elbasy Academy” Corporate Fund, the Ministry of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, Congress of Youth of Kazakhstan, the media and parent community.

The Commission reviewed the results for the first stream of participants who successfully completed tasks in all areas. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to award 1,000 participants with bronze Elbasy Medals in 2020. It should be noted that at the moment another 7 thousand young Kazakhstanis continue to participate in the bronze level program.

It should be reminded that the “Elbasy medal” is the only national-level program that is aimed at comprehensive youth development. It consists of 7 main areas: sports, talents and skills, reading books, national heritage, volunteering, expeditions and hikes, and work practice. Young Kazakhstanis from 14 to 29 years old can participate in the program.

Currently, the project covers more than 11 thousand participants, 600 mentors, 17 regional coordinators and experts.
