More than 14.7 thousand technical means of rehabilitation issued through the Portal of social services

Since the launch of the Portal of Social Services (hereinafter referred to as the portal) at the beginning of the year 14,723 technical means of rehabilitation (hereinafter referred to as TMR) for persons with disabilities were issued through it.

The portal allows persons with disabilities to independently choose the manufacturer and supplier of technical means of rehabilitation. The guaranteed type of assistance is ordered by means of an electronic digital signature. You can receive the ordered ТMR by delivery or self-pickup.

Currently, 24 out of 55 types of technical means are available on the portal. In October, in a pilot mode, the functionality will be launched by order through the portal of services of individual assistants and sign language specialists, as well as by the choice of the organization for the implementation of sanatorium treatment. The rest of the TMR types will be transferred to the portal in 2021.

Provision of rehabilitation facilities for persons with disabilities includes the provision of prosthetic and orthopedic, deaf-technical, typhlo technical and hygienic means, as well as wheelchairs.

Recall that the electronic resource was developed for persons with disabilities, with the aim of providing recipients with the necessary services and TMR directly from the supplier. To date, the portal has been visited by 5,748 disabled people and 5,216 people with the status of “Guardian”.

At the moment, 733 suppliers are registered on the portal, 25 of them provide technical support services, 708 will provide special social services. The ministry is actively working to increase the number of suppliers.

The introduction of the automated information system “Portal of Social Services” is envisaged in the framework of the National Plan to ensure the rights and improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities.
