Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov and Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Magzum Mirzagaliyev held a joint working meeting on the current situation in the provision of aviation fuel for the needs of civil aviation with the participation of heads of domestic airports, airlines, KazMunayGas, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy national companies and large suppliers of aviation fuel …
During the meeting, the reports of the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee, the heads of the airlines Air Astana, SKAT, Qazaq Air, airports of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, KazMunayGas on the current balances of aviation fuel at airports, consumption and production volumes until the end of this year, plans for 2022, shipment of contracted volumes and transportation of aviation fuel by rail. Aviation fuel suppliers were instructed on the need to take measures to expedite the shipment of aviation fuel for airlines and to bring the produced volume to end consumers timely.
In order to plan the volumes of aviation fuel production at domestic refineries in the long term, enterprises were instructed to submit forecast plans for fuel consumption until 2030.
Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Beibut Atamkulov instructed airlines and airports to fully carry out the uninterrupted performance of regular passenger traffic, taking into account the upcoming holidays.
Energy Minister Magzum Mirzagaliyev stressed that the volume of aviation fuel produced by domestic refineries fully covers the needs of airlines performing passenger transportation.
At the same time, the air transportation market has seen a significant increase in cargo and transit services, the provision of which requires the import of aviation fuel, added the head of the Ministry of Energy.
