Medical workers sent to Atyrau and Mangistau regions to stabilize the epidemic
To stabilize the epidemiological situation in Atyrau and Mangistau regions, on behalf of the Head of State, several groups of medical workers are sent to the regions from among the specialist virologists, infectious disease specialists, resuscitation specialists, pulmonologists, and a group of Russian doctors will go there to help.
108 specialists will go to Atyrau oblast: 5 specialists of the Committee for Quality Control of Goods and Services under the supervision of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor for Transport, 10 scientists of clinical departments, 9 residents of clinicians of the West Kazakhstan Medical University named after M. Ospanova ”, 78 interns, as well as 6 doctors from the Russian Federation consisting of pulmonologists, resuscitators, and infectious disease specialists.
56 specialists will be sent to the Mangistau region: 42 interns, 9 specialists from Russia, and 5 scientists from the NAO West Kazakhstan Medical University named after M. Ospanova. ”
Recall that, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his Twitter account, responded to the appeal of public representatives of the Atyrau region.
“I got acquainted with the appeal of members of the public about the situation in the Atyrau region. There was a commission led by deputy. Prime Minister. The government is sending doctors to the area, and assistance will be provided with medicines, ”Tokayev wrote.
