Media workers honored in Almaty region
A solemn event in honor of the Day of Mass Media Workers took place today in Taldykorgan. Akim of Almaty region Amandyk Batalov congratulated the masters of pen and microphone on their professional holiday, – the press service of the Akim of Almaty region reported.
The event began with a tour of the photo exhibition located in the foyer of Saltanat Saray, where the festive meeting took place. After honoring a minute of silence in memory of the journalists who died over the past year, those present watched a mini-reel about the work of journalists working in the region. Then akim of the region Amandyk Batalov made a congratulatory speech. Noting the merits of journalists, he dwelled on the significant contribution of media representatives to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, and also recalled that 37 journalists working in the region were awarded the Halik alkysy medal.
– Each representative of your important and complex profession is distinguished by mastery of the word, high responsibility, active civic position, patriotism, sincere love for the native land, its inhabitants and for their work. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank all of you for the effective cooperation that has been developing between us over the years. Thank you for your sensitivity and support. You can talk for a very long time about the role your profession plays in the modern world, about its importance in solving urgent problems and establishing a dialogue between residents and the authorities. But, first of all, today I would like to congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on your professional holiday and sincerely thank you for your great joint work and indifference to the development of our region. I wish you all good health, prosperity, success, creative energy and inspiration, ”A. Batalov summed up, stressing the importance of the meeting in the year of the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence.
Famous journalists also congratulated the colleagues. Among them are the general director of the “Kazakh gazetteeri” partnership Shamshidin Pateev, the general director of the TengriNews website Sunkar Karabalin, the veteran of journalism Tleugabyl Mynzhasar and the deputy of the Koksu regional maslikhat, the editor-in-chief of the Nurly Koksu newspaper Aigul Aimanbekova. The award ceremony continued the pleasant part of the festive event. Thus, the “Veteran of Labor” badges were awarded to the deputy editor of the Ile Tagy newspaper Roza Aydarbekova and the correspondent of the Zhetisu newspaper Kanat Birzhansal. The title of “Honorary Journalist of the Republic of Kazakhstan” was awarded to Ramazan Yeleshev, the staff correspondent of the “Ogni Alatau” newspaper. Also, a number of media representatives, employees of press services were awarded the badge “Excellence in the Information Sphere”, Diplomas of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Diplomas and Letters of Gratitude from the regional akim. A small concert program ended the celebration.
