How the airports of Kazakhstan work today

About 6.2 million passengers were served at the airports of Kazakhstan for 8 months of the year, which is 47% less than at the same period of the last year (11.8 million people). The indicator of the transported passengers amounted to 3.2 million passengers, Which is on 43% less than the value of the same period last year (5.6 million passengers).

The negative dynamics of indicators was influenced by the restrictions imposed on the operation of flights on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Currently, there are domestic flights, as well as direct international passenger flights to 11 countries: South Korea, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Turkey, Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, and Russia.

At the same time, the flights are carried out in conditions of increased sanitary safety measures in accordance with the decree of the Chief Sanitary Doctor in Transport.

Disinfecting works are carried out at all airports in the country, hand sanitizers are installed, and quarantine measures are observed (social distancing, the mandatory wearing of masks, and gloves). At the entrance to the building, the non-contact thermometry of passengers and airport employees is carried out.
