Foreigners and stateless persons can obtain a certificate for employment in Kazakhstan online
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – MLSPP) transferred the service “Issuing or renewing a certificate to a foreigner or stateless person on the qualifications for independent employment” online. Now it can be obtained on the egov.kz portal.
Now foreigners and stateless persons can receive this service from anywhere in the world. Since June 16 this year physical treatment is not required at the public service center, which significantly saves time and financial resources of both the service recipient and the service provider.
“We understand that it is important now to carry out all interaction in an online format. Recent events have clearly demonstrated this. Therefore, we systematically translate all our services into electronic form, so that any of them can be easily used. As for the service for issuing a certificate for employment to foreigners or stateless persons, in order to receive it on the egov.kz portal in the “Citizenship, Migration and Immigration” section, you must select the service itself and click on the “Order Online” button. In the window that opens, you must fill in the required fields (IIC, full name, phone, e-mail) and attach scanned copies of educational documents confirming labor activity and proving the identity of the foreigner. Then sign the request using EDS or a one-time password, ”said Nariman Mukushev, Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
The term for the provision of services is from 3 to 21 days, depending on the required document: issuance of a certificate or its extension.
Recall that by the end of 2020, MLSPP plans to transfer all its services to electronic format. At the end of 2019, the share of services provided electronically amounted to 80%.
