On September 27, 2016 the President of Slovakia Andrey Kiska signed a decree on ratification of the Agreement on expanded partnership and cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Union.
Earlier, on September 7, 2016 the Parliament of Slovak Republic ratified this Agreement.
On September 30, 2016 The Slovak Republic officially informed the European Union on ratification of this document.
The agreement expands the interaction in 29 areas and opens new opportunities for cooperation between PK and EU in trade and economic and investment, including taking into account accession of Kazakhstan to the WTO and participation in the Eurasian Economic Union.
