During the meeting, the issues of further improvement of the activities of the Supreme Judicial Council were discussed, including aimed at the recovery and renewal of the judicial corps, the development of the Academy of Justice and strengthen the disciplinary liability of judges.
Dmitry Malakhov said that in the light of strengthening the role of the Council itself, which now has now transferred all personnel issues in relation to judges, there is a digitalization of all business processes and competitive selection.
The president also reported that cassation courts begin work in July 1, 2025. By this time, judges will be selected by the council and their compositions will be formed.
According to the results of the meeting, the head of state gave a number of specific instructions.
