The head of state received the manager of the Astana International Financial Center Renat Bekturov

The President was informed about the work of the Astana International Financial Center on the development of innovative financial products and services, strengthening the investment attractiveness of the country, as well as interaction with key business partners as part of the updated AIFC development strategy.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about measures to further expand the range of sustainable financing instruments and the role of the Center in achieving the goal of financing the country’s carbon neutrality.
The head of state noted the important role of the AIFC in creating the infrastructure and conditions for attracting foreign investment, as well as in developing the stock market and the economy of Kazakhstan.
Following the meeting, the President focused on the need to increase the competitiveness of the Center, create favorable conditions for large-scale investments in relevant infrastructure projects, such as the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.
