Representatives of German business are interested in cooperation with Kazakhstan in the sphere of education
Representatives of German business declare a high interest in cooperation with Kazakhstan in the educational field, in the opening of new and relocation of existing projects from other countries of the region. This was announced at a meeting between Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek and Chairman of the Kazakh-German Society, Managing Partner of Eurasian Management Solutions Thomas Helm.
The parties also discussed ways of cooperation between the two countries in the educational field. Sayasat Nurbek confirmed the readiness of Kazakhstan to facilitate the opening of branches of top German universities in Kazakhstan, if they are interested.
– The reform of higher education, providing our universities with academic and managerial freedom, open the way to Kazakhstan for the best universities in the world, – Minister Sayasat Nurbek said.
The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek also informed the guest about the basic principles of development of both science and higher education in the country, and also spoke about the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State of Kazakhstan aimed at stimulating the participation of Kazakhstani scientists in scientific research of foreign universities.
– To date, thousands of Kazakh scholarship holders have already studied at German universities, many of which work for the benefit of the economy of Kazakhstan, – said Thomas Helm.
German scholarship programs have been among the most popular among Kazakh youth for decades. They offer a wide variety of projects for both undergraduate and graduate studies. There are also research programs for scientists and teachers, as well as other scholarship programs.
