Please join Sonya Savage, Minister of Energy, Government of Alberta, and Bronwyn Eyre, Minister of Natural Resources, Government of Saskatchewan, as they discuss innovation in the energy sector in Canada. The session will be moderated by Rachel McCormick, Consul General of Canada in Dallas, and focus on emerging technologies in several areas as well as the steps Canadian jurisdictions have taken to deploy technology to help meet the needs of a low-carbon economy. The session will touch on opportunities for investment and partnership, and showcase how decades of oil and gas experience has given these Canadian jurisdictions a leg up on implementing innovative solutions in emerging energy fields. It will also provide insight into measures being taken to support developing sectors, such as hydrogen, CCUS, helium, petrochemicals, and critical and rare earth minerals.
