13.7 billion tenge allocated for the upcoming heating season in the Almaty region
“For the preparation and conduct of the heating season 2021-2022, the budget of the Almaty region provides 13.7 billion tenge, including 3.3 billion tenge for the repair of heat supply facilities, 10.4 billion tenge for the purchase of fuel”, – the press service of the akim of Almaty region reports .
According to the regional department of energy and housing and communal services, 35 central boiler houses, 58.2 km of heating networks, 13.5 thousand km of electrical networks and 3101 units of transformer substations are being prepared for a high-quality heating season. 5.2 billion tenge was allocated from the budget for the purchase of 26.2 million liters of diesel fuel for public sector facilities. At this stage, the supply of fuel for budgetary organizations has already begun.
It is planned to procure 405.3 thousand tons of coal and 15 thousand tons of fuel oil for energy companies. Also, work is underway to provide coal for the population in advance in the required volumes. At the same time, the demand is 1.37 million tons.
To date, 202.5 thousand tons or 15% have been sold to the population, 94.1 thousand tons are at dead ends with warehouses. Local akimats are campaigning for the need to purchase coal in advance. Also in the region, systematic work continues on the conversion of boiler houses to gas, the installation of modular boiler houses.
