Over the first half of the year in the region, more than 30 thousand unemployed and self-employed citizens were covered by active measures of employment, – the press service of the akim of the Almaty region reports.
According to the information of the regional department of economy and budget planning, this year 31.8 billion tenge has been allocated for the implementation of the “Employment Roadmap” of the region. To ensure employment, increase the income of the population in the first half of the year, more than 30 thousand unemployed and self-employed citizens were covered by active measures, of which 3.3 thousand people were within the framework of the Employment Roadmap. Also, comprehensive state support for small and medium-sized businesses contributed to an increase in household income and employment productivity.
So, this year, within the framework of the Business Roadmap, the Employment Roadmap, the Enbek program and the Zhetysu regional program, the amount of funds has been increased to 23 billion tenge. During the first half of the year, 990 projects were financed for the amount of 7.5 billion tenge, 2,750 permanent jobs were created. The share of SMEs in the gross regional product this year will reach 34.3%.
