Preliminary agreement for the supply of vaccines has been reached with “Pfizer”

A preliminary agreement has been reached with Pfizer for the supply in the 4th quarter of 2021, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.
“Since March 2021, negotiations have begun with representatives of Pfizer on possible supplies of a vaccine against the coronavirus infection COVID-19. As part of interaction between the Ministry and Pfizer, a Confidentiality Agreement has been signed, ”the ministry said.
The Ministry is constantly negotiating with Pfizer to optimize the terms of the Agreements on the main terms of the transaction, including a meeting at the level of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the same time, the Pfizer company notified of the need to adopt a Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to conclude an Agreement on the supply of vaccines.
