A single portal of short-term online courses has been launched in Kazakhstan
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Center for the Development of Labor Resources JSC have launched the skills.enbek.kz portal for short-term online courses. Already 70 authors and developers of online courses are ready to offer their training programs for interested citizens.
The portal is a Kazakhstani analogue of international training sites that provide access to online courses on the principle of a marketplace (service market). The resource was created with the aim of increasing the level of education and professionalism of the population of the country as a whole, stimulating career development and promoting the concept of “lifelong learning”. At the time of launch, Kazakhstani authors and developers already offer courses in the areas of cooking and culinary business, cosmetic, legal and accounting services, construction, hotel and restaurant business, office work, IT, SMM.
Any citizen can get access to training in demanded skills or advanced training courses by following the direct link https://skills.enbek.kz/ or by choosing “Online training” on the electronic labor exchange enbek.kz. The authors and developers of the courses are Kazakhstani legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, including training centers, educational organizations. They already see the advantages of the Portal in providing a free platform for placing courses, promoting the development of online learning, and receiving an additional channel of profit.
For novice of authors and developers, the Portal has prepared and posted guidelines for creating online courses and the requirements for them.
