A fitness center is opened in one of the densely populated villages of the Almaty region
Another sports and recreation center was commissioned in the Almaty region as part of the execution of the order of Elbasy for the construction of 100 sports and recreation centers in the country. A new sports facility was built in the village of Balpyk bi, Koksu district. Now residents of the village with a population of about 17 thousand people will be able not only to improve their health, but also to professionally engage in 12 kinds of sports, – the press service of the akim of the Almaty region reports.
Akim of Koksu region Almas Adil, bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in freestyle, wrestling Maulen Mamyrov and world champion in kettlebell lifting among veterans Zhumakhan Kuzubayev congratulated the villagers on the joyful event. Having cut the symbolic ribbon, the athletes wished the rural youth success in all their endeavors, as well as confidence, dedication and self-confidence.
673 million tenge was allocated for the construction of a modern sports complex. The total area of the building is 3 thousand square meters. There are equipped halls for wrestling, boxing, team games, a gym, a climbing wall, as well as spectator stands with 180 seats. All conditions have been created for practicing 12 sports, including volleyball, basketball, handball, minifootball, badminton, boxing, tennis, wrestling and others. There is also an equipped medical office, changing rooms with showers, a dressing room, a 16-seat buffet.
Everything you need to do sports for people with disabilities is provided. By the way, to date, 15 sports and recreation complexes have been built in the Almaty region. Among them are sports complexes in the villages of Narynkol in the border Raiymbek region and Bakanas in the remote Balkhash region.
