Geoportal of Almaty region provides an opportunity for the operational management of land resources
In the Almaty region, active work to identify unused land began in 2015. A clear result of the measures taken was the development and launch in the same year of a comprehensive electronic map of the region’s land resources, which made it possible to ensure the availability and transparency of information on land holdings. This map contains agricultural land, unused land, issued regulations, irrigation networks, tourist facilities of the region indicating the location of capacity, distance from the regional center, investment projects of national importance and other useful data. This was announced during the briefing by the head of the regional department of land relations Sabit Saduakasov, – the press service of the akim of the Almaty region reports.
According to the speaker, thanks to the creation of an electronic land card, information that was previously scattered was collected in one place, that is, a single database appeared. Then, on the basis of the integrated map, a Regional Geographic Information System was created, that is, a geoportal, in which all existing industry databases and cadastres are combined. The geoportal of the Almaty region provides information on land plots, master plans of cities and functional zoning of the territories of settlements, residential and non-residential buildings, red lines in settlements, sanitary-security and water-protection zones, zones provided with communications, that is, water and gas systems. -, heat -, power supply, sewerage, telecommunication networks. The system of this integrated map also includes information about each economic entity, that is, the location, volume, area and instructions on the use of the land plot in accordance with its intended purpose. Thus, this geoportal provides an opportunity for operational land management.
“This, in turn, contributes to the effective identification of unused agricultural land and the adoption of appropriate measures. Any citizen wishing to receive information about lands in the Almaty region can go to the geo-information portal by following the link – map.e-zhetisu.kz. All information is in the public domain, no registration is required to view, however, in order to receive government services, you must register and sign an application with an electronic digital signature, ”says S. Saduakasov.
According to him, in accordance with the instruction of the President of the country on the return of unused pasture lands to state ownership, announced at an expanded meeting of the Government, regional land management services, akimats of districts and cities have strengthened work in all directions.
