On lifting restrictions on flights between Kazakhstan and Turkey
On August 27, 2020, restrictions on regular passenger flights between Kazakhstan and Turkey are lifted.
Earlier, in connection with the situation with the spread of COVID-19, from August 5, 2020, the Turkish side introduced restrictions on the entry of passengers from Kazakhstan to Turkey.
The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan worked with the Turkish side on the issue of lifting restrictions on flights between the two countries. So, according to the Turkish aviation authorities, the issue of lifting the restrictions is coordinated with the Turkish Ministry of Health and, given the stabilization and improvement of the situation with the spread of COVID-19, the Turkish side decided to lift restrictions on the entry of passengers from Kazakhstan to Turkey.
The flights will be operated in strict compliance with the sanitary and epidemiological standards of Kazakhstan and Turkey and in accordance with the published schedule on the airlines’ websites.
