MLSPP checks in the regions the implementation of recommendations to improve the work of LSG
Yerlan Aukenov, the vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan arrived at the southern regions of Kazakhstan in order to check the implementation of the recommendations of the Ministry (hereinafter – MLSPP) to improve the quality of special social services in medical and social institutions (hereinafter – SSS) and compliance with quarantine measures in them.
Yerlan Aukenov began his working trip from Shymkent, where he first visited the Center for the provision of special social services No. 2 and the Children’s Center for the provision of special social services No. 6.
The management of the centers reported to the vice minister on the measures taken to prevent the infection of service recipients with coronavirus infection. Quarantine has been introduced in SSS, with the prohibition of visits to relatives and friends; the holding of mass, cultural and other events has been suspended; organized regular sanitary and anti-epidemic measures; round-the-clock monitoring of the health status of the wards is carried out; the sanitary and disinfection regime and social distancing are observed; all employees and service recipients are provided with personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, antiseptic sprays).
In addition, as part of the implementation of the MLSPP recommendations, service recipients and center workers were tested for coronavirus infection.
The measures taken made it possible to prevent the infection of the wards of the local self-government with COVID-19.
At the same time, the relatives of the recipients of the services have the opportunity to communicate with them and the medical personnel via video communication.
During quarantine, most of the children who receive the semi-stationary daycare have the opportunity to work with defectologists, speech therapists, psychologists, and exercise therapy instructors online at home.
The centers are completing work on the installation of a new video surveillance system with 100% coverage of living rooms, places of medical care, meals, playgrounds, etc.
“In order to improve the quality of the services provided by the Ministry, we gave recommendations to local executive bodies to provide all LSGBs with the Internet. In 74 out of 113 local self-government bodies operating in the country, WI-FI is already connected. In addition, according to our recommendations, public councils have been established in 113 institutions. All SSS now have accounts on social networks. The budgets of 95 SSS have been published in the public domain. Close contact has been established between the management and employees with the families and friends of the wards, ”Yerlan Aukenov informed.
During the working trip, the vice minister will also check compliance with quarantine measures and the implementation of all recommendations in the local self-government of the Turkestan and Zhambyl regions, Almaty.
