Kazakhstan increased production of pesticides, nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers
According to the results of 4 months of the current year, Kazakhstan increased the production of pesticides, nitrogen, and phosphorus fertilizers.
For example, pesticide production growth increased 2.2 times, from 2.3 to 5.1 billion tenge, nitrogen fertilizers increased from 118.7 to 149.4 thousand tons, phosphate fertilizers from 55.6 to 64.2 thousand tons.
The main producers of mineral fertilizers are Kazphosphate LLP (phosphate fertilizer production), the average annual phosphorus fertilizer production capacity is 405.0 thousand tons. It produces the following types: ammophos, superphosphate, tricalcium phosphate, sulfoammophos, nitroammophos, phosphogypsum. The share of products of Kazphosphate LLP in the domestic market is more than 99%. As well as the KazAzot JSC (production of nitrogen fertilizers) the average annual capacity for the production of nitrogen fertilizers is 398.9 thousand tons, it produces ammonium nitrate in accordance with the requirements of GOST 2-2013.
It is worth noting that thanks to the modernization of Kazphosphate LLP and KazAzot JSC, within the framework of the Industrialization Map, the production of phosphate fertilizers at enterprises increased 4 times, and nitrogen fertilizers 2 times.
The main producers of pesticides or chemical plant protection products in Kazakhstan are the following enterprises: Astana-Nan LLP, ShchelokovoAgrohim-Kazakhstan LLP (Akmola region), Agrochemistry LLP (Almaty), Kosagrokommerts LLP (Almaty region) , AgroKhimProgress LLP, Kaztrastkem LLP (Pavlodar region).
Most domestic manufacturers produce herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, desiccants, defoliants, growth regulators. The average annual capacity of existing enterprises for the production of pesticides and other agrochemical products is 27.3 thousand tons of finished products.
As part of the Industrialization Card, in AgroHimProgress LLP in Pavlodar and in the Stepnogorsk branch of Astana-Nan LLP, the production of chemical plant protection products increased by 4.5 times.
