Today, February 22, 2021, Vice Minister of Health – Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Kiyasov and Vice Minister of Health Azhar Giniyat received the second dose of Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine at the base of the City Polyclinic No. 6 in Nur-Sultan.

Let us recall that A. Giniyat and E. Kiyasov received the first dose of the vaccine against coronavirus infection on February 1, 2021 at the base of the City Metropolitan Polyclinic No. 6.

As previously reported, on February 1, a campaign on voluntary phased vaccination of the population was launched in Kazakhstan. The first batch of Sputnik V vaccine was delivered to Kazakhstan in the amount of 22 thousand doses and distributed across all regions.

Only adult citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan can receive the vaccine. It is planned that vaccination against CVI will continue until the end of 2021 with coverage of up to 6 million people.
