About 270 thousand services were received by persons with disabilities through the Social Services Portal in 2021
Since the beginning of this year. through the Portal of Social Services (hereinafter referred to as the Portal), more than 187 thousand persons with disabilities received technical means of rehabilitation (hereinafter referred to as TSR), more than 6 thousand – sign language services, over 32.5 thousand – services of an individual assistant, about 44 thousand. – Spa treatment. Also, 170 thousand orders for guaranteed social packages were issued through the Portal.
The portal allows persons with disabilities to independently choose the manufacturer and supplier of technical aids and rehabilitation services. The order of the type of assistance is carried out by confirming the electronic digital signature of the service recipient. You can receive the ordered ТСР by delivery or self-pickup.
Provision of rehabilitation facilities for persons with disabilities includes the provision of prosthetic and orthopedic, deaf-technical, typhlotechnical and hygienic means, as well as wheelchairs.
To date, the Portal has registered 863 medical and social institutions (departments) providing special social services, 149 TSW providers, more than 14 thousand providers of individual assistant services, 255 sign languages, 69 spa treatment, 135 providers of a guaranteed social package.
Since December 29, 2020, on the eGov.kz portal, an opportunity has been implemented for persons with disabilities to submit an electronic application for the provision of public services of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During this period, more than 213 thousand documents were issued through the e-government portal for the provision of rehabilitation means and services.
The introduction of the automated information system “Portal of Social Services” is envisaged within the framework of the National Plan for Ensuring the Rights and Improving the Quality of Life of Persons with Disabilities.
