Two civilian aircraft arrived at Almaty Airport, delivering 55 tons of medical products from Moscow for the most popular names for treating coronavirus infection and pneumonia, including antiviral and antipyretic drugs, anticoagulants and antibiotics.
In the coming days, about 150 thousand tablets of azithromycin, about a million bottles of ceftriaxone, 150 thousand packs of Tamiflu, 50 thousand packs of arbidol, and other popular medications arrived on special flights, will arrive at the country’s retail pharmacy network.
This volume is enough to cover the monthly need for drugs. Arriving medicines will be evenly distributed and promptly delivered to the regions in the coming days.
The same board for transporting drugs next week will deliver cargo from India. In order to increase the availability of drug supply, and to cover the entire need for medicines, such events will be organized monthly.
Prompt delivery of drugs by special sides of the Civil Aviation Committee is one of the measures implemented by the government to urgently saturate the market with the most popular drugs.
Such flights will be carried out on a regular basis to saturate the drug market and constantly replenish the pharmacy chains with the necessary drugs.
