In addition, the President of Kazakhstan visited an ethnic village located on the territory of the EXPO exhibition complex, where exhibitions of arts and crafts, music and theatre performances and competitions in national sports were organized.
The Head of State addressed representatives of a number of national mass media. In his speech, Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated the whole nation of Kazakhstan on the holiday of Nauryz, noting that this celebration became a symbol of the inseparable connection of generations and the deep continuity of the traditions and culture of our people.
-Nauryz has become a truly national holiday, a vivid example of the country’s unity, where everyone makes his own contribution to the development and prosperity of Kazakhstan, the Head of State said.
The President of Kazakhstan placed greater focus on the high moral value of this blessed holiday, meaning a universal purification and spiritual revival.
– Since the dawn of time the holiday united people, warmed their souls with love and joy, calling for kindness and mercy. These days we support each other, forgive resentment, and strive for harmony and unity. It is very important for all of us to strengthen the values of mutual respect and accord, creating a solid foundation for the global competitiveness of our country, the Head of State said.
Nursultan Nazarbayev drew attention to the fact that over the years of independence, Kazakhstan has achieved impressive results in all key areas and at present it has set itself an even more ambitious goal – joining the world’s 30 most developed countries.
– Deep modernization of all spheres of life will be our convincing response to the challenges of the times. Under the new technological revolution in the world, the main wealth of our country is human capital – knowledge, ability and patriotism of citizens. Only a nation of smart, successful and self-reliant people can build a strong and prosperous Kazakhstan, the President of Kazakhstan said.
The Head of State separately dwelt on actualization of Five Social Initiatives, which open up new prospects for development to each citizen of Kazakhstan.
– Thanks to the new mortgage program 7-20-25, many families will have their own homes in all regions of the country. Preferential microcredit will cover even more citizens willing to start their own business. Allocation of additional 20 thousand educational grants and construction of new hostels will open new opportunities for thousands of young people of Kazakhstan. All these concrete measures are a weighty support for young people and young families, and will be a powerful impetus for improving the quality of life and increasing the country’s welfare, Nursultan Nazarbayev said.
In conclusion, the Kazakh leader wished prosperity, happiness, unity and success for all compatriots to the Motherland’s benefit, the Republic of Kazakhstan.
